Descriptions – presentation forms

 

Theme sessions duration 90 or 45 min:

Panel debate: Here you have a space of 45 min to create a debate around a theme. You are the one responsible for inviting debaters.

Round-table talks: In a round-table talk you present a subject for a discussion which involves the participants. A round-table talk lasts 45 min whereof the introduction or the presentation of the subject may last no more than 10 min.

Workshop: A workshop should have a specific theme with which the participants work actively. It can be a method or an investigative issue. A workshop disposes of 90 min.

Paper presentation: Here you have 20 min to present a study or experiences from higher education. Your presentation should leave room for 5 min of questions. The session comprises of either 2 or 4 presentations and is concluded by a joint discussion of 5 respective 10 min where the main theme of the subject can be discussed.

 

Open square, duration 90 min:

Poster presentation: Here you will have access to a screen. The poster exhibition is accessible during the entire conference, but you are expected to present your poster at one of the open-square sessions at the conference.

Demonstration: Here you will have access to a table and connection possibility for your own computer in a room close to the open square. You are expected to present an application, a method, or similar at one of the open-square sessions at the conference.

Lightning talks: Here you will have access to a place in connection to the open square and a given point of time for the presentation. In total you will have 15 min, where the presentation may include maximum 20 pictures that will be displayed 20 sec each. The remaining time (8 min) should be used for discussion with the listeners.
